| So... at 12:30 yesterday afternoon, my newest little sister, Kari Joy, was born... she weighed 8.4 pounds, and was 201/2 inches long. She is perfect in every way, and one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time. (I'll post pics as soon as things slow down a little) I honestly spent most of yesterday afternoon just staring at her- watching her sleep (she seriously looks like an angel when she sleeps)... Watching her there for most of the afternoon, all the other things in life, things that can seem so important, or so easily distract and overwhelm, became so small and insignificant- and I was left staggered, amazed, standing in awe by the goodness of God and His perfect love.
